Which is better hostel or PG or flat?
PG is always better than flat or hostel. Families mostly prefer going for flat. It is the most expensive option from the three. Hostel is cheaper than PG but comes with many disadvantages. Can we cook in PG?
Yes, we can cook in PG. Our PG at Meridian stays have a kitchen where client can cook their own food. There is also an option to hire cook. Kitchen has a functional refrigerator and gas stove with cylinder. Utensils are personal so will be bought by the client as per need.
Can boys and girls live in same PG?
No, boys and girls cannot live in the same PG. At Meridian Stays we have separate flats for boys and separate flats for girls. This is done to achieve a sense of freedom and comfort for the client so that he or she gets a homely vibe.
Is PG cheaper than hostels?
PG is not cheaper than hostel. The facilities, amenities, space and environment provided in PG is better than in hostel where there are less amenities in a crowded environment. Meridian stays is a combination of both where you get cheaper options in PG with less persons residing with you in a furnished flat.
Which is cheaper Andheri east or west?
Comparatively Andheri east is cheaper than Andheri west. Andheri east is densely populated with many commercial centres and heavy traffic which makes property rate cheaper than Andheri west which is comparatively less populated, has a beach, many film celebrity homes and more.

Is the deposit amount refundable?
Yes, the deposit is refundable. To receive it, you’ll need to complete your minimum stay duration, serve a one-month notice, and ensure all dues are cleared.
Can I share my single room with a friend?
We understand you'd love some company, but unfortunately, we can’t allow anyone to stay over without a confirmed booking and proper document verification. Each resident needs to be officially registered with us.

Is it safe to live in PG?
Yes, it is safe to live in PG. Our properties are located in societies that have 24 hours Security guards and a real time operating CCTV setup to ensure safety of clients.

Are single occupancy PG rooms expensive?
Single occupancy rooms are generally more expensive than shared rooms, but Meridian Stays offers budget-friendly pricing plans and discounts for long-term stays to make them more accessible.
How does sharing affect the PG rent in Mumbai?
Single Sharing: ₹20,000 – ₹35,000/month, Double Sharing: ₹12,000 – ₹20,000/month, Triple Sharing & More: ₹7,000 – ₹12,000/month. More sharing means lower rent but also less privacy.
What’s included in the price once I’ve paid for my room?

Does PG have Deposit?
Yes, PG has a deposit. We have a policy of collecting only One month rent as Security deposit. Before leaving the premises client has to give a one month prior notice on the basis of which the deposit amount is refunded.
How can I book a room for myself?
We love that you're eager to book! Before locking things in, we recommend visiting the residence you're interested in—just to be sure it’s the right fit for you. In the meantime, you can reserve your spot by paying a token amount of starting from ₹5000 (depending on bed). This gives you priority access to the best available rooms.
How and when can I see the room before booking?
Anytime that works for you! Just reach out to our team, and they’ll be happy to schedule a visit at your convenience.
If I pay the token amount for a remote booking, does it reserve a room for me?
Yes, paying the token amount does reserve a room for you temporarily. However, the reservation is only confirmed once you pay the non-refundable full booking amount. Since rooms are allotted on a first-come, first-served basis, someone else could book your preferred room if they complete their payment before you. So we highly recommend completing your booking as soon as possible.
